BEST WESTERN HOTEL UNIVERSO

   The Universo Hotel is one of the few Roman hotels with an almost hundred year tradition.

   The hotel is situated in the heart of the capital, not far from the Termini railway station and a few steps away from the Teatro dell'Opera and government buildings such as the Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Defence (Palazzo Baracchini) and the Ministries of the Treasury and Agriculture in Via XX Settembre.
It is next to the Palazzo Massimo Museum. Piazza Venezia, the Borghese Museum and Via Veneto are a short stroll away, as are the Quirinal Palace, Capitol Hill, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.

   The Universo Hotel occupies all of an elegant and sober 19th century building.

   An airy and modern lobby with various conversation corners and information on all the various Roman entertainment and cultural initiatives leads into the Salone Costantino. This room, with its welcoming and elegant furnishings, is perfect for unwinding and listening, if you wish, to a pleasant musical background.

   Our two restaurants have recently been completely renovated. The larger is ideal for business dinners, banquets and receptions; the smaller and more intimate space is indicated for private encounters. Both offer traditional Italian cuisine with some Roman specialties as well as a good choice of international menus.

   The bar is always open and here guests can relax here at any time of the day.

   We also have one of the largest congress centres in the city of Rome, offering nine rooms of which the main one has a capacity for 300 people.

   For every special need of its clients, a particular attention has been devoted to health, and the hotel has recently created a modern fitness centre equipped with the most innovative sports facilities, finnish sauna and Jacuzzi shower.

   The rooms and the "junior suites" are now completely restructured and equipped with air-conditioning, soundproofing, pay TV, satellite TV, minibar and safe.
